Intro to Handbuilding Pottery
Handbuilding is a great introduction to working with clay. In this three-hour class you will learn the basics of how to handbuild. This includes wedging, rolling a slab, using a mold, texturing, beveling edges, attaching pieces, finishing edges and joints, and coil building. This class is for learning introductory skills and is expected to result in a multi-technique finished piece which we will fire for you. You will have the option to glaze it at Glaze-appaloosa! or at a Pottery Lab session.
Clay and tools are included and students should wear clothing they do not mind getting dirty.
