A 'wild' example of sifted enamel on Copper

Details

In this class we will explore the basics of enameling. You will learn what is it and what you can do with enamel.
Enameling is a process that has been around for hundreds of years. Related processes are gilding and stained glass. Enameling can be used for many different things. Most commonly seen in figurines, dishes and jewelry; enameling is considered a metalsmithing discipline.
There are many techniques within this discipline. We will look at several methods of enameling and practice one process. You will be able to take your pieces home with you.

Included in the price of the class: your materials, instruction, studio time, and operational fees. We will be working with Copper for this class.

Due to the nature of the materials and processes, tinker-minis must be accompanied by an adult and be at least 12 to participate in the class.
