Cold Connection Stone Setting

In this class you will learn how to set stones in a simple piece you have created in the course of the class using only cold connections.


This internet example clearly shows the tab set technique.

Prerequisites:

It is recommended that you have already taken the 100-101 class beginning your certification course. This class will utilize techniques taught in that class, knowing these techniques will expedite your learning and project.


Supplies:

Supplies will be provided for you and included in the price of the class. Should you desire to bring your own supplies (stone or metal) please check in with the instructor or shop captain prior to doing so.


Age Requirements:

Shop recommends that 14 and up is suitable for this class. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paid participant and legal guardian at all times.


Maximum number of registrants:     5


Suggested Attire:

Shop attire is required at all times in the Metalcraft, Jewelry and Lapidary shop. This includes: safety glasses, closed-toed shoes (no tennis shoes), comfortable clothing (cotton or other natural fibers), no long, loose or dangling clothing or accoutrements, and tie long hair and beards up. Safety equipment is available in the shop if you do not have your own.

No Show/ Cancellation Policy:

Should you need to cancel, and cancel within one week of scheduled class time you will enjoy a full refund. If you need to cancel, and cancel within three days prior to the scheduled class time you will enjoy a 50% refund. If you cannot attend and become a No Show, you will sacrifice/donate your class fee to the good of the shop. You will not receive any refund.  Please be considerate to potential attendees and your instructor, seats and space is limited for this shop. Classes fill up quickly and there is generally a wait list. Communicate early with your instructor if you believe you will not be able to attend.
